Police: Assault victim slipped 'date rape' drug at TLA

Police say a 22-year-old woman was sexually assaulted inside this Burlington County motel on Sunday, November 14, 2010.

Police believe a South Jersey woman was slipped a 'date rape' drug at a concert in Philadelphia before she was sexually assaulted at a motel in Burlington County, New Jersey.

At 6:06 a.m. Sunday, Cinnaminson police received a report of a sexual assault at Gene's Motel in Cinnaminson.

The 22-year-old victim was at the 'Infected Mushroom' concert at the Theater of the Living Arts on South Street. She separated from her group of friends at around 1:00 a.m.

Police believe that the suspect gave the victim a "date rape" drug without her knowledge.

Authorities say the suspect and victim arrived at the motel at 4:30 a.m. The suspect then sexually assaulted the victim.

The suspect drove away in the victim's 2010 Mazda M35, 4-door white sedan bearing NJ YYY87E.

The victim was transported to the hospital and was treated and released.
