More toys for less money

WARMINSTER, Pa. - December 15, 2010

It's not one of Santa's miracles -- it's the magic that happens when you buy slightly used toys at a shop like RePlay Toys in Warminster, instead of buying new retail. You get a lot more bang for your buck on Christmas morning.

"We offer a great selection, our items are in great condition, as well as a great price," explains Antoinette Alpart of Replay Toys.

At Replay, the toys are checked against recall lists, and they make sure they work and have all their parts.

And it's not just Barbie and friends that are a great deal.

For the price of one new board game -- here you can get a stack.

"At Kohl's, Spiderman Monopoly retails for $36.99," Alpart explains. "And here at RePlay toys, you're able to get 7 games that have all their pieces, their instructions, (for the same price)."

If you have a kid who's into Legos, for less than the $40 retail price of one Harry Potter or Indiana Jones set, you can buy the City Ambulance, two stocking-stuffer Racers and the Dino Attack set. Plus, Replay sells bags of bulk legos for $6 each.

For toddlers, you could buy a Laugh and Learn Playhouse new for $75, or buy it gently used, along with the Talking Bird Bath, purse, tool bag and radio for a total of $40.

Bottom line -- a lot more toys under the tree for a lot less cash.
