18-year-old Tanisha McIntyre was found shot on North 30th and West Jefferson streets at around 7:20 p.m.
Police say she suffered from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.
McIntyre was taken to Temple University Hospital where she later died.
The killer remains at large.
The fatal shooting of McIntyre occurred hours after police say a double homicide took the lives of a man and woman, both 20-years-old, a few blocks away.
Police are continuing both investigations.
