SUV damaged in crash with Phila. fire truck

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA - January 3, 2011

The crash happened shortly after 10:00 a.m. at the intersection of Roosevelt Blvd. and Harbison Avenue.

According to fire officials, the fire truck was responding to a call on Vandike Street when the collision occurred.

One civilian received minor injuries and four firefighters were transported to Jeanes Hospital for observation as a result of the crash.

The accident remains under investigation.

The northbound lanes of the Boulevard remain closed at Harbison Avenue.
