This afternoon around 3:30 p.m. Burlington County fire departments responded to the scene of a house fire on Atsion Road.
When they arrived, they saw heavy smoke coming from the home.
A fire chief walked around the house and saw a woman in her 80's inside.
They were able to get her out of the home.
She was flown to Temple University Hospital suffering from burns and smoke inhalation. She is in critical condition.
The fire was brought under control around 4:00 p.m.
Fire department believes that it may have started in the basement.
