His cab veered off the road around 10:00 Saturday night. Neighbors along the 100 block of Christiana Landing Road heard the commotion and called police.
Responding officers saw that the cab driver had been shot.
The cabbie, who works for Hope Taxi, was rushed to Christiana Hospital in critical condition. His name has not been released.
