The crash happened around 7:05 a.m. at the intersection of 60th Street and Kingsessing Avenue. The car became wedged under the rear of the bus as a result of the collision.
There were several children on the bus at the time of the crash - none of which appeared to sustain any injuries. The students were transferred to another school bus that was dispatched to the crash scene.
The driver of the car was injured in the accident. The severity of the injuries sustained in the crash are not clear at this time.
