On the toddler boys rack, I found a Phillies outfit for $5, a Janie and Jack shorts set for $6 and short-alls and a polo from Hartstring for $5.
In the huge baby gear area, I found a Simplicity bassinet for $25 and for $40, you can buy a Graco Pack'n'Play with a changing table attachment.
There are hundreds of pairs of shoes for sale, many of them clearly never worn, including Nike basketball shoes for $10.50 and Crocs flip-flops for $2.
Volunteers who work during the setup and sale were able to begin shopping yesterday. Amy Panesar and Jennifer Commale of Phoenixville, Pa., each worked 12 hours for the privilege of being among the first to shop. They raved about the sale and the savings.
Commale said, "I'll pull things out and save them all year. (My son's) only two and it's just great to save a lot of money."
Panesar added, "Those things that the kids grow out of, they only use them for 6 months, you can buy things at just amazing prices."
The sale runs from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2011, and from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. For all the details, click here..
