NJ dad stays an activist after son's return

RED BANK, N.J. - May 9, 2011

Ten-year-old Sean Goldman spent more than half his life at the center of an international child abduction case.

David Goldman has written a book about the ordeal and is giving his first extensive interviews since shortly after the boy was returned to him the day before Christmas in 2009.

The boy's mother took him to her native Brazil when he was four years old. She died four years later.

Though he was supported by an international treaty, it took Goldman years to get his son back.

Goldman says his son is happy in New Jersey, playing baseball and getting good grades.
