A $1500 lawn mower for $1105. Patio furniture that was $1100, on sale for $660. And a digital frame set that was $100 for $40.

And it's not just household items that are on sale at the new Sears Outlet store that's just opened in East Norriton, in the building that Kmart vacated two years ago.

"We sell new, used, one-of-a-kind, out-of-box, remanufactured, clearance and scratch-and-dent merchandise," explains store manager Dave Faber. "Anywhere from major appliances like refrigeration, washers and dryers, cooking, . We also sell apparel, both Sears apparel that you'd find in a full-lline Sears and Land's End apparel."

The appliances -- like a washer/dryer pair that was $1731 and is on sale here for $1044 -- may have little dents or may be unopened in the original boxes. Discounts range from 20% to 60%.

"Every appliance in here, whether it's new in a box, or used, or scratched or dented, they all come with a full manufacturer's warranty and is available for a three- or five-year Sears protection agreement," Faber says.

The clothes -- including off-season and unsold merchandise from Land's End -- is all brand new and discounted 60% to 80%.

"We have $100 winter jackets for $20. We've got $40 jeans for $7. All first line goods," Faber says.

The reviews from shoppers who visited during the "soft opening" this week were very positive.

Melissa Goffer, of Green Lane, Pa., said, "I'm very excited, shorts, capris, stuff for the summer, at prices way, way below retail. especially the Land's End stuff."
