A published author and noted educator, Dr. McLaughlin received the Patients' Choice Recognition Award in 2008. He is in private practice at Regional Hematology Oncology Associates in Langhorne.

He served his internship and residency at Delaware Valley Medical Center in Langhorne, where he received honors as Chief Resident and Resident of the Year. He completed a Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology, he is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists. Dr. McLaughlin has conducted research on high-dose Nolvadex in the treatment of malignant melanoma, and continues to be actively engaged in clinical research.
