2 injured in NJ copter crash-landing identified

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. - July 21, 2011

The pilot is 27-year-old Edwin Eilbacher of Hillsborough, N.J. His passenger is 44-year-old photographer Julia Armstrong-Robertson of Newark, Del.

Both are in critical condition in the surgical intensive care unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.

The two were aboard a Robinson R22 copter that made a crash-landing Wednesday morning about 100 feet behind the Indian Fields Elementary School in South Brunswick. The school was not in session.

Armstrong- Robertson is a freelance photographer and the owner of the Delaware-based Aero-Imaging, Inc. She had hired the helicopter for an aerial photo shoot in Dayton, N.J.

The helicopter is owned by Nassau Helicopters of Princeton.

The FAA is investigating.
