Julio Cruz-Castellanos, 31, has been charged with the continuous sexual abuse of a child, 2nd-degree rape and 3rd-degree unlawful sexual contact.
Police were notified on July 25 and, through their investigation, say the child was raped on at least 10 occasions.
The abuse had been happening since the child was seven years old, police say.
Police say additional information regarding the circumstances and location are being withheld to protect the victim's identity.
Cruz-Castellanos was found at his home in the Collins Park community and taken into custody.
