Workers credited with saving dogs after lightning

CAMP HILL, Pa. - September 28, 2011

The York Dispatch reported that one of the workers was in a truck when lightning hit it Tuesday afternoon, shattering the windshield, blowing out the radio and triggering the passenger-side air bag.

The paper says lightning also hit the home and set fire to the roof, which was badly damaged along with the attic.

Lower Allen Township Police tell the paper the asphalt beneath the landscaper's truck tires was blown into chunks.
