Manhunt after Broad Street restaurant robbery attempt

Investigators say he handed the cashier a note demanding money, but instead of giving him any cash, the cashier just backed away during a holdup attempt on September 27 at the Wendy's on the 1700 block of N. Broad Street.

Police are on the lookout for a man who tried robbing a restaurant along Broad Street in Philadelphia.

The man came into the Wendy's restaurant at 1700 N. Broad Street Tuesday morning just before 10 a.m.

Investigators say he handed the cashier a note demanding money, but instead of giving him any cash, the cashier just backed away.

The man ran off.

The suspect is described as a white man, 30-40 years-of-age, 5'5'' to 5'9", bald head, glasses, tattoos on both forearms wearing a green long sleeve "T" shirt with writing. After the robbery the male changed into a red 't' shirt with white writing.
