Biker, two pedestrians injured along Route 54
NEWTONVILLE, N.J. - October 23, 2011
A biker and two pedestrians were injured in two separate accidents near the same location.
It happened around 11:45 p.m. Saturday on Route 54 near Jackson Road in Atlantic County.
The motorcyclist crashed and police say a man and a woman walking by the crash was then struck by a passing vehicle.
The biker received minor injuries and was treated and released from a local hospital.
The female pedestrian was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, listed in critical condition.
The male pedestrian was taken to South Jersey Regional Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
No word on their identities.
Police are still investigating both accidents.
