Two dead after string of shootings in Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - November 21, 2011

The latest happened Sunday night in the 1300 block of Baltic Avenue.

The victim was shot and killed.

Another person shot on North Maryland Avenue earlier Sunday night also died.

There were three other shootings in Atlantic City over the weekend.

Shots were fired in the 600 block of North Virginia Avenue and at the corner of Atlantic and Indiana Avenues between 12 a.m. and 3 a.m. Sunday morning.

There was another shooting at the Disston Apartments on Saturday night.

It's unclear if any of the shootings are connected.

Atlantic City police and Atlantic County prosecutors are investigating the incidents.
