Search for Kennett Square bank robber

KENNETT SQUARE, Pa. - December 14, 2011

At approximately noon, the suspect entered the bank and presented a threatening demand note to a teller.

Police say the male suspect verbally indicated that he was armed with a gun, however no gun was displayed.

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the area of the bank in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male in his late 30's to early 40's, between 5'8" and 6'0" tall, medium to heavy build, with a large oval birthmark on his right cheek and a tattoo on the left side of his neck. He was wearing a dark winter cap, sunglasses, gloves, a dark hooded sweatshirt over a turtleneck or other type of sweatshirt, and black sneakers with white soles.

He is considered armed and dangerous.
