Arrest warrant issued for fmr. Valley Forge counselor

RADNOR TWP., Pa. - January 4, 2012

According to an affidavit, police say 30-year-old Symantha Hicks was interviewed on December 4th after officers were called to the school for a report of an assault.

On the scene, police talked to four cadets.

The first cadet, a 16-year-old, told police Hicks had been his counselor since he became a student in January, 2011. During an office visit during the week of October 31, the cadet told police Hicks kissed him and then performed oral sex on him.

The cadet then told police that, a few weeks later, Hicks texted him and said she was staying on campus because of an upcoming fishing trip. According to police, Hicks invited the cadet to stay with her in her room. However, the cadet said he declined the invitation.

Three other cadets, all 17, said Hicks supplied them with alcohol on multiple occasions.

Hicks has been charged with one count of Unlawful Contact with a Minor, eleven counts of Corruption of Minors, and ten counts of Selling or Furnishing Liquor or Malt or Brewed Beverages to Minors.

Police say Hicks will turn herself in later this week.
