Twenty-two-year-old Angela Kim and 20-year-old Brooke Nolan, both members of Gamma Phi Beta, face a preliminary hearing Thursday on charges stemming from the alleged March 15 in incident. Nolan tells the Altoona Mirror her attorney has advised her not to comment, and Kim's attorney did not immediately return a call from The Associated Press.
The sorority has been suspended on campus and its international council says is "appalled" by the allegations, for which its members will face discipline.
The victim tells police she wanted to drink shots from the bottle with her friends, but was beaten and kicked when she tried.
