It happened at 5:33 a.m. on Rising Sun Road in Bordentown.
Officers on the scene determined that a 2011 Silver Infiniti G37 traveling southbound on Rising Sun failed to stop at the intersection with Old York Road.
The car slammed head-on into a New Jersey Turnpike wall.
The driver, Maciej R. Lewandowski, 35, of Yorktown Road in Bordentown, was killed. He was the only person in the car.
The crash is being investigated by the Bordentown Township Police Department's Traffic Unit.
