It happened about 2 p.m. Friday on Airport Road at Allegretto Road. Troopers say Harry Marsh of New Castle was trying to make a left turn from Airport Road onto Allegretto Road when he drove into the path of a pickup truck driven by 40-year-old David Wickersham of Newark.
Marsh's truck spun around and came to rest on its side. Troopers say Marsh was ejected from his vehicle and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Wickersham's came to rest on the front lawn of a home. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The accident is under investigation.
