Impact Thrift Grand Opening Saturday

FEASTERVILLE, PA. - April 20, 2012

Those are just a few of the deals at the new Impact Thrift Store that's having its grand opening on Saturday, April 19, 2012, in Feasterville, Pa.

The grand opening activities for the fourth Impact Thrift store in our area begin at 10:00 a.m. in the former Value City at the Bucks Crossing shopping center on Street Road.

Jo Greenawalt of Impact Thrift explains, "This is our largest store to date. It is 42,000 square feet of retail space, in this store alone. Our other three stores combined are only 44,000 square foot, so this actally almost doubles our retail space for the entire company."

The store's donated inventory includes dishes, glassware and other household items, furniture, appliances -- even the occasional Lowry organ.

You can get an air-conditioner for $30 or shirts from names like Ed Hardy, Brooks Brothers, J. Crew and Banana Republic for just $10 to $12 each.

And at the grand opening, prices will cut even more!

Greenawalt says, "Customers are guaranteed anywhere from a 25% discount to a 50% discount . So when they go to the register to check out, they put their hand into a basket and they will pull out a discount. It will be 25%, 30%, 35%, 40% or 50% off their entire purchase."

And not only do the shoppers here get bargains, the store's profits are donated to charities that help local families in crisis.

Impact Thrift CEO Paul Baur says, "The profits really do go back to the local charities and we currently support more than 16 local charities. Since 2003 we have been able to donate more than $1.4 million back to the charities."
