Chester Co. milk truck crash kills 2 brothers

LOWER OXFORD, Pa. - May 27, 2012

Police say the crash happened at about 9:44 p.m. Saturday on Route 472 in Lower Oxford Township.

Trooper Dennis Harding says the coupe failed to stop at a stop sign and went into the path of the oncoming truck, which was hauling a milk tanker-trailer.

Brothers 21-year-old Brett Peirson of New Providence and 24-year-old Jeffrey Peirson of Lancaster were pronounced dead at the scene. Neither was using a seat belt.

The truck driver was treated for a minor injury. Officials say both vehicles were heavily damaged.
