Fire destroys vacant house in Lindenwold

LINDENWOLD, N.J. - July 31, 2012

The fire started just before 2:00 a.m. at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Scott Avenue.

It quickly spread throughout the two-story house. It took firefighters over an hour to get the flames under control.

Investigators say this was a house that had caught fire about a year ago and had been vacant ever since.

The fire this morning destroyed the home. Police say a demolition crew has been call to remove what was left.

Due to the fact the house was vacant, the fire is considered suspicious.

No injuries were reported.
