Suspect identified in Cape May Co. homicide

Police have identified the suspect wanted for a homicide inside a house in Cape May County, New Jersey.

That man is 30-year-old Bernard E. Green, aka "Peanut," of East Pacific Avenue in Villas, who remains at large. He is wanted on a number of charges including first-degree murder.

Police also say another man, 21-year-old Kyle Timmons, also of East Pacific Avenue, is in custody on charges of hindering apprehension in connection with this crime.

The killing happened at 15 Ellery Avenue in the Villas section of Lower Township at 12:10 a.m. Tuesday.

Investigators say Chris Turner, 44 of Villas, was found dead inside a home there.

According to police, Turner was a visitor at the home who got into a fight with Green. During the fight Turner was shot and killed.
