Police say 21-year-old Luis Medina was found shot and dead on the sidewalk.
In the second incident, three men were shot in an SUV along Amity Street.
The vehicle crashed into a fence near North 9th and Exeter Streets.
According to police, one of the victims, Najeeb Johnson, 34, was dead at the scene. The other victim suffered a graze wound and the third man was not injured.
So far, no arrests have been made in either case.
