Fire broke out in the 1200 block of Sycamore Avenue shortly after 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Crew arrived to find heavy smoke and fire coming from the two-story middle of the row townhouse.
An elderly woman was killed in the fire. Neighbors identify the victim as Mary Nelson. Her husband, Dennis Nelson, was injured in the fire. There is no word on his condition at this time.
The family's pet cat and dog also died in the fire.
Damage from the fire is estimated at $200,000, which includes damage to two other homes adjacent to the home on fire.
Investigators are still trying to determine what sparked the blaze.
