Suit: Pa. child molester should buy victim's house

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) - March 21, 2013

Sixty-five-year-old Oliver Beck pleaded guilty in September 2011 to indecent assault of a child under 13. After getting out of prison, he moved back to his home near Emmaus, about 55 miles north of Philadelphia.

The child's parents say they don't want to live next to Beck. Their lawsuit says that because Beck is a registered sex offender, their house is now "virtually unmarketable." The suit demands that Beck buy their house from them for $350,000.

Beck's lawyer has filed court papers seeking dismissal of the suit, saying the law does not entitle the plaintiffs to the relief they're seeking.
