Flames tear through North Philadelphia church

NORTH PHILADELPHIA - March 22, 2013

It happened around 8:20 Friday night on the 2500 block of North Bancroft Street.

Officials say flames broke out in a two-story home that had been converted into a church.

About 15 minutes into battling the blaze, fire crews evacuated the building due to the possibility of a collapse.

The blaze was placed under control around 9:05 p.m.

Authorities are working to determine if two injuries nearby were related to the fire.

So far no word what sparked the blaze.
