Serial bank robber strikes again in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA - April 8, 2013

The latest robbery happened at the TB Bank at 111 South 11th Street on Saturday morning.

Investigators say the man entered the bank at 8:55 a.m. and demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 40s, approximately 6' tall, slim build, with "salt and pepper" hair and goatee; he wore a dark blue zip-front hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

The FBI said the same man is believed to be responsible for three other robberies in as many months:

-The robbery of the PNC Bank at 6855 Frankford Avenue on January 29th.

-The robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank at 6420 Frankford Avenue on February 4th.

-The robbery of the TD Bank at 6635 Frankford Avenue on February 22nd.

Anyone with information about this robbery is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to man's capture and tipsters can remain anonymous.
