24-year-old man critical after West Philadelphia shooting

WEST PHILADELPHIA - May 7, 2013

The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of 60th and Baltimore Avenue.

Police arrived to find the victim with gunshot wounds to the lower right side and back.

The victim told police, someone tried to rob him and shot him. He then ran to Baltimore Avenue to get away.

The unidentified victim was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and is listed in stable condition.

Police are investigating and so far, no arrests have been made.
