Thursday, July 4 (Independence Day)
Celebration of Freedom Ceremony/Independence Day Parade
Independence Hall 500 block of Chestnut Street will be closed to vehicular traffic, starting at 10 A.M. Wednesday, July 3 until 4 P.M. Thursday, July 4.
Chestnut and Market streets will be closed from Front to 9th and 9th will be closed from Walnut Street to Arch Street
Thursday, July 4 from 7 A.M. to 1:30 P.M.
Party on the Parkway (12 P.M. – 7 P.M.)
Philly 4th of July Jam/Grand Finale Fireworks
(Concert & Fireworks, 7 P.M. – 11 P.M.)
Benjamin Franklin Parkway
The following streets will be closed beginning Thursday, July 4 at 6 A.M. until the conclusion of the fireworks at approximately 11:15 P.M.:
Ben Franklin Parkway closed from 18th Street to Eakins Oval, all lanes
Cherry Street closed from 18th Street to 20th Street
19th Street closed from Callowhill Street to the Ben Franklin Parkway
20th, 21st, 22nd Streets from Callowhill to Arch Street
East and West bound exits of I-676 to 22nd and 23rd streets
Martin Luther King Drive closed from the Philadelphia Museum of Art to the Falls Bridge
The following will be closed starting 4 P.M. July 4:
Fairmount Avenue westbound at Corinthian; diverted northbound onto Corinthian Avenue
15th, 17th, 19th, and 21st Streets south at Spring Garden; diverted eastbound onto Spring Garden Street
Spring Garden Street westbound at Broad Street
Callowhill Street westbound at Broad Street
Hamilton Street westbound at 17th Street
29th Street southbound at Poplar Street; diverted onto Poplar Street either east or west bound
Kelly Drive closed from South Ferry Road to Eakins Oval on July 4, from 4 P.M. to the conclusion of the fireworks at about 11:15 P.M.
Friday, July 5
Taste of Philadelphia (Noon – 10 P.M.) Penn's Landing
Beginning Friday, July 5 at 4 A.M., the block of E. Chestnut Street will be closed. This block and the remainder of the viaduct will remain closed until Sunday, July 7 at 8 P.M.
Saturday, July 6
(Taste of Philadelphia followed by evening concert and fireworks.)
Taste of Philadelphia (Noon – 10 P.M.) Penn's Landing
Beginning Friday, July 5 at 4 A.M., the block of E. Chestnut Street will be closed. This block and the remainder of the viaduct will remain closed until Sunday,

Taste of Philadelphia (Noon – 4 P.M.) Penn's Landing
Beginning Friday, July 5 at 4 A.M., the block of E. Chestnut Street will be closed. This block and the remainder of the viaduct will remain closed until Sunday, July 7 at 8 P.M.
SEPTA Public Transportation Information
SEPTA subway will run until 12:30 A.M. on July 5.
PATCO will run on its usual schedule of 24 hours/day at 15 minute intervals.
The Regional Rail will run to all 12 destinations.
Trains will depart from Suburban Station between 11:30 A.M. and midnight.
Specific departing times will be advertised in Suburban Station.
SEPTA buses will be staged on 20th and 21st streets.
