2 pit bulls stolen from Southwest Philadelphia home

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA - August 5, 2013

It was around 4:00 a.m. when two men stormed a home on the 6900 block of Linmore Avenue.

Police say one of the suspects struck the homeowner in the face during the invasion. The thieves swiped the two pit bulls and about $500 in cash before fleeing the scene.

The injuries to the home owner were not serious.

Police described one of the suspects as standing 6' tall and wearing all black. The victim told police the second suspect had a chipped tooth. He was wearing white shoes, shirt and blue jeans.
