The victim, believed to be in his late 60's, was struck at 8:45 p.m. at the intersection of 79th and Cheltenham Avenues.
But the bus kept going.
The bus was later stopped at Broad and Erie streets.
The victim was rushed by paramedics to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
It's not clear whether the driver of the bus knew someone had been hit.
