Chopper 6 HD was over the scene at B and Lehigh Streets after the suspect crashed his vehicle into a fence.
Authorities say the man robbed a Swiss Farms convenience store in Springfield just before noon and may be responsible for two other similar robberies last month.
The suspect was transported to a Delaware County Hospital with minor injuries.
He faces robbery and related offenses along with eluding police.
