In honor of Benjamin Franklin's 308th birthday, visitphilly.com is offering free admission to the Benjamin Franklin Museum. Visit the only museum dedicated to the life and legacy of one of the most extraordinary Founding Fathers any time during his birthday weekend and your entry fee is on us.
Throughout the weekend, the museum will be hosting a variety of birthday-themed celebrations including a parade, special presentations and a birthday party complete with free cake.
Free Admission Details: Complimentary admission begins Friday, January 17 and lasts through Sunday, January 19. The museum is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. all three days. 4. FREE SUNDAY A.M. ADMISSION TO BRANDYWINE RIVER MUSEUM
Explore three floors of galleries featuring three generations of the Wyeth family, American illustration, and works representing the artistic heritage of the Brandywine Valley. Visitors can also enjoy "Breakfast on the Brandywine" in the museum's café from 9:30 until 11:30 a.m.
Museum admission is free every Sunday morning through November 23, except on May 25 during the annual Antiques Show. Admission fees for this event benefit the Museum Volunteers' Purchase Fund,which has contributed more than 200paintings,drawings and prints to the museum's holding since 1975.
