Firefighters were called out to 2 Kings Court in Florence Township around 3:40 a.m. Sunday after receiving a call that there was a fire on the first floor of the residence.
Fire officials say the homeowner had gone back inside the home to retrieve a family pet, but all were accounted for once crews arrived.
Numerous firefighters battled the blaze for about 30 minutes before getting the fire under control.
There is no word on a cause.
