Interstate 95 southbound reopens in Delaware County after truck crash
Interstate 95 southbound has reopened in Upper Chichester Twp., Delaware County after an hours-long closure due to a truck crash.

UPPER CHICHESTER TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Interstate 95 southbound has reopened in Upper Chichester Twp., Delaware County after an hours-long closure due to a truck crash.

It happened around 1 p.m. Tuesday between Exit 3 (US-322/Highland Ave) and Exit 2 (PA-452/Market St).

Chopper 6 was over the overturned truck accident earlier in the afternoon, where the semi was across multiple lanes.

All southbound lanes of I-95 are closed in Upper Chichester, between exits for PA 452 and Highland Avenue.

The roadway reopened shortly before 4 p.m.

There were also delays in the northbound lanes at mile marker 2.7 because another tractor-trailer was leaking fuel.

Multiple fire departments and hazardous material teams were on the scene there for part of the afternoon.

There has been no word of any injuries.
