UPLAND, Pa. (WPVI) -- A deal to save two Delaware County hospitals is now in jeopardy.
Action News learned of the latest developments Thursday during an emergency hearing in federal bankruptcy court.

That deal involved Penn Medicine, which says it, along with a group of nonprofit hospitals, is still willing to be part of the solution to keep Crozer Chester Medical Center in Upland and Taylor Hospital in Ridley open.
An attorney for the hospitals said the deal fell apart after a board member from the Foundation for Delaware County filed suit to stop funds that were keeping the hospitals afloat.
The foundation said that suit was withdrawn Thursday and it is committed to working on a long-term solution.
Prospect Medical Holdings, which owns both properties, filed to close both hospitals earlier this month.
Another hearing on the matter is scheduled for Monday, according to court filings.
