Man recovering after being shot in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A 45-year-old man is recovering this morning after he was shot in North Philadelphia.

The shooting occurred around 5:15 a.m. Saturday near a neighborhood park on A Street near Ella Street.

Action News has learned the victim was shot in the jaw and hand.

He was taken to the hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

So far, no word on a motive.
