Authorities have released audio of a 911 call from an amazingly brave 12-year-old-boy outside of Boston.
The boy was home alone and hiding from an alleged intruder when he made the call.
Terrified and alone, Luke was on the line with a dispatcher who would prove to be his lifeline.
Luke whispers so the intruder doesn't discover him and the dispatcher came up with a code so he wouldn't be heard.
"You don't have to talk. Just (press) 1 for yes, 2 for no, okay?" said the dispatcher.
Police soon arrived, but the suspect was gone.
But Luke's description helped them chase down the suspect, Richard Poirier, on foot.
