WEST OAK LANE (WPVI) -- Homicide detectives are investigating whether drugs played a role in a deadly shooting in Philadelphia's West Oak Lane section.
The incident happened around 8:45 p.m. Monday on the 7100 block of Uber Street.
Police say a 41-year-old man was found shot outside a running car.
The victim was shot in the upper torso and groin. He died at the scene.
One bullet pierced the car's window.
Police say they recovered one pound of marijuana from the vehicle.
So far, there have been no arrests.
