Multi-vehicle crash in Mayfair; 2 injured

MAYFAIR (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash in Mayfair that has sent two people to area hospitals.

It happened at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday at Tyson and Rowland Avenues.

Police say 3 vehicles collided and one overturned.

A 62-year-old woman was trapped in the overturned vehicle. Medics took her to Aria Health/Torresdale to be treated for a fractured hip.

Also injured was a 47-year-old man, who was taken to Nazareth Hospital.

There was no immediate word on the condition of either victim.
