SUV overturns after collision in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Police were on the scene of a crash involving an SUV and a sedan that left the SUV lying on its side in Wilmington.

It happened at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at Pennsylvania Avenue and Scott Street.

Police say one of the vehicles was making a left turn from Pennsylvania Avenue onto Scott Street when the collision happened.

Images from the Action Cam at the scene showed a silver Chevrolet SUV lying on its side and a dark green Nissan Maxima with New Jersey tags parked a short distance away.

First responders helped a female driver from one of the vehicles.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.

One lane of Pennsylvania Avenue remained closed as police investigated and crews worked to clear the scene.
