New location for learning

UNIVERSITY CITY (WPVI) -- After three years of planning, officials have found a new location for the Science Leadership Academy Middle School.

Classes will start this fall in a temporary space at Drexel's Dana and David Dornsife Center.

The school will start out with 90 fifth graders, and eventually serve 360 children through eighth grade.

They'll stay at the rented Drexel location for at least two years, before moving into a new building on the former site of University City High.
