Ambulance carrying patient involved in crash in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- An ambulance taking a patient to the hospital was involved in a crash in North Philadelphia.

It happened shortly before 1 a.m. Wednesday at Broad Street and Allegheny Avenue.

Police say a car swiped the ambulance at the intersection.

The patient was taken to the hospital in another medic unit.

Police are questioning the driver of the car.
