A Center City bowling alley was the scene of a bad strike - by robbers.

Police say two masked men, armed with handguns, burst into the posh Lucky Strikes bowling alley and robbed the place of 15 thousand dollars.

Officers responded to the robbery at 1336 Chestnut Street about 3:15 Saturday morning.

The bowling alley closed more than an hour earlier.

Investigators did not report anyone injured in the heist.

Lucky Strikes opened a few years ago, and has hosted fundraisers, including some by Philadelphia's best known athletes.
