WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - February 8, 2008
Elizabeth Huovinen has been a city firefighter since 2002 and
filed her lawsuit in June in federal court. She claimed a male
counterpart exposed himself to her and alleged others watched
pornography while working. She also claimed her complaints resulted
in a transfer to a job with fewer opportunities for overtime.
Her attorney, Steven Mones, calls the settlement an "amicable
resolution."
City Communications Director John Rago says no disciplinary
action was taken against any employee as a result of the
allegations.
