About 200 people and about 65 dogs attended Yappy Hour on Wednesday at the Pedigree Dogstore, which promotes finding homes for homeless dogs. The event was hosted by Animal Fair magazine.
Pet lovers and dogs mingled - or sniffed - while sipping on cocktails.
And for people who didn't take a dog to the event but desired one?
Animal Fair editor Wendy Diamond says there were about 20 dogs at the event available for adoption.
